A trio of Monticello runners signed letters of intent today.

Reigning 800-meter champion Ben Ahlrichs is headed to Northern Iowa next fall. Alrichs was also fifth at the state cross-country meet, helping the Panthers win their third straight team title.

Cody Jamison will compete in track and field at Nebraska-Kearney. Jamison was the 2012 state high jump champion.

And Michael Melchert is set to join the Hawkeyes. Melchert has won multiple track titles and was also the individual cross-country champion this past fall.
