Start Times For 4 Iowa Football Games Announced

IOWA CITY, Iowa - Iowa football will play at least three games this fall on ABC, according to a school news release.

ABC will broadcast a pair of Iowa road games — at Minnesota (Sept. 28) and Ohio State (Oct. 19). Both games are slated to kick off at 2:30 p.m.

Iowa’s last two trips to Minnesota began at 2:30 p.m., and Iowa lost both by a combined four points. Iowa’s last game at Ohio State in 2009 also aired at 2:30 p.m., and the Hawkeyes lost 27-24 in overtime.

The Hawkeyes’ annual Black Friday game (Nov. 29) against Nebraska will air on ABC for the third straight season.Kickoff is slated for 11 a.m. Nebraska has won both meetings.

Iowa’s homecoming game against Michigan State (Oct. 5) will start at 11 a.m. The broadcast network has not been determined.
