CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Springville's 6'6 running back Elias Nissen has verbally agreed to play for Mark Farley and the UNI Panthers. Nissen rushed for 2,218 yards and scored 58 touchdowns this season.

He will play tight end for the Panthers.

"I really was impressed with the coaches," he said. "They have great facilities. It felt like it would be a great fit for me. They have a great program with success in the past, and I'd like to be a part of it."

Nissen chose Northern Iowa over North Dakota State and Wyoming.
