LONE TREE, Iowa Sometimes you win them easily, going away. And sometimes on a cold, rainy, windy night, you fight and claw, and hang on at the end.

That was the way it was for the Lisbon Lions Friday night, as they came from behind, then hung on to beat Lone Tree, 18-14.

The Lions went ahead for good on a 1-yard touchdown run from quarterback Logan Rickard with 42 seconds to go in the game. Butthe game was far from over, as Lone Tree drove the length of the fieldlate, getting to the Lisbon 13 as time ran out.

Lisbon started the scoring on a Trevor Moore 51-yard TD run. The rest of the half belonged to Lone Tree, which scored on a 63-yard Gabe Lorack run, and a Lorack 33-yard pass to Bryan Forbes.

In the second half Moore banged one in from 18 yards out. Two missed extra points kept the score in Lone Tree's favor at 18-14 entering the fourth quarter. Moore finished with 124 yards on 19 carries and the two touchdowns.

Brock Givens intercepted a batted Lone Tree pass on the 45-yard line, setting up Rickard's late-game heroics.
