STARMONT 26, NORTH BUTLER 20

Alan Hayes rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown and caught eight passes for another 85 yards and two touchdowns as the Stars won at home.

His 35-yard touchdown pass from David Lowry with 22 seconds left was the game-winner.

Lowry completed 10 of 18 passes for Starmont for 105 yards and three TDs.

HLV 71, MESKWAKI 12

Tanner DeBrower rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns and Cale Lahndorf scored three times as the Warriors won in Victor.

DeBrower scored on runs of 61 and 6 yards and Lahndorf on runs of 14, 24 and 73.

WILLIAMSBURG 53, FORT MADISON 0

Chance Miller had 55 yards rushing and scored three touchdowns including a 71-yard kickoff return and Jacob Donohoe completed 7 of 9 passes for 112 yards for Williamsburg (2-1) at Fort Madison.

ALBURNETT 40, NORTH CEDAR 14

Alburnett's Colton Martin-Enos rushed for 141 yards and one touchdown. while Dylan Windfield ran for 116 yards with two touchdowns. Quarterback Alex Philipp picked up 116 yards and scored one touchdown for the Pirates. Zach Hoyle had twelve tackles with four of them resulting in loss of yards for North Cedar.

DYERSVILLE BECKMAN 35, MOUNT VERNON 28

Grant Hammann completed 5 of 9 passes for 68 yards and Ian Ross threw a 49-yard touchdown to Hammann for Beckman (2-1) at Dyersville. Ross had 22 carries for 115 yards and one touchdown and Mitch Steger had seven carries for 84 yards and a touchdown for the Blazers.

CASCADE 27, MONTICELLO 23

Cascade quarterback Timmie Kleitsch passed for 210 yards and three scores, including touchdowns of 14 and 31 yards to wide receiver Jordan Junk, as the Cougars (2-1) won at Monticello. Junk finished with five catches for 78 yards.

WEST DELAWARE 26, WESTERN DUBUQUE 6

Ryan Dudak rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns and Timmy Tutton added a TD and 83 rushing yards as the Hawks won at home. - Bill Logan, correspondent
