SPRINGVILLE 58, MESKWAKI 8

Elias Nissen led the way with 120 yards rushing and four touchdowns to lead Springville (2-0, 1-0) to win on the road. Drake Coonrod had a 35-yard interception for touchdown for the Orioles.

CAMANCHE 30, ANAMOSA 12

Two defensive touchdowns were too much for the Raiders to overcome in a loss at home.

After quarterback Connyr Lewis gave Anamosa a 6-0 lead in the first quarter on a 1-yard run, Camanche scored twice on defense — on Zach Smith's 40-yard interception return and Michael Osaro's 35-yard fumble return.

Cody Mensinger led Camanche with 115 rushing yards,

Josh Schulte caught seven passes for Anamosa (0-2) for 91 yards,

STARMONT 21, CLAYTON RIDGE 14

Zane Schlee rushed for 126 yards and David Lowry passed for 69 and two touchdowns as the Stars won at home.

Dan Franzen scored on an 18-yard pass and Elliott Moses on a 13-yard pass for Starmont and Gable Hamlett also scored for the Stars.

Kohle Helle scored twice for Clayton Ridge.

NORTH LINN 38, NORTH CEDAR 8

Brendan Schott finished with a game-high 218 yards and scored twice to lead North Linn (1-1) at home over North Cedar (0-2).

Quarterback Jon Wolff finished 4 of 8 for 58 yards and a touchdown and added 24 yards rushing for the Lynx.

The North Linn ground game led the offensive attack with 368 yards rushing and four touchdowns.

PRESTON 77, WEST CENTRAL 68

Andrew Driscoll scored six touchdowns to lead Preston (2-0) at Maynard.

Michael Lincoln ran for 262 yards and six touchdowns for West Central (2-1).

DYERSVILLE-BECKMAN 30, WEST DELAWARE 26

Beckman QB Grant Hammann had 18-of-28 passing with two interceptions. Hammann scored two touchdowns in last night's game; the first was 161 to Mitch Steger, the second was 19-yards to Tony Anstoetter.

Mitch Steger scored the game winning touchdown with 40.8 seconds left. Adam Noethe added three field goals at 28-22-24 yards.

Ryan Dudak had 22 carries at 172 and scored three touchdowns for West Delaware.

CENTER-POINT URBANA 46, BENTON COMMUNITY 18

Rose Berry had 15 carries at 170 and scored five touchdowns for Center-Point Urbana.

CASCADE 57, BELLEVUE 20

Cascade running back Alec Hoffman rushed 15 times for 288 yards and scored three toiuchdowns, and the Cougars defense held Bellevue scoreless in the second half to win in a rout. Cascade quarterback Timmie Kleitsch tossed three touchdown passes, two to receiver Jared Manternach.
