CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - We've compiled almost a dozen more games in short form from Friday's action.

WEST BRANCH 52, CARDINAL 6

Cade Jones scored four touchdowns and Michael Gould added two as the Bears (4-2 in 1A-6, 7-2) rolled in Eldon.

Jones scored on runs of 23, 28, 12 and 7 yards, totaling 115 yards on seven rushes. Bo Bower rushed for 113 yards on eight carries, scoring one TD. Gould scored on a 25-yard run and a 40-yard punt return.

West Branch will play at Clayton Ridge in the first round of the playoffs on Wednesday.

Cardinal ends the season 0-6, 3-6.

PRESTON 78, CEDAR VALLEY CHRISTIAN 14

Spencer Zielke threw a touchdown pass to Daniel Ostroot, and Eric Gustafson had 16 tackles for Cedar Valley Christian.

WEST DELAWARE 56, OELWEIN 0

Ryan Dudak ran for a school-record 274 yards and five touchdowns and the West Delaware defense held Oelwein to 41 yards of total offense.

Dudak, who had 21 carries, had TD runs of 9, 67, 4, 40 and 41 yards. Brent Lammers completed 13 of 14 passes for 188 yards and two touchdowns — 13- and 14-yarders to Jacyn Goebel.

INDEPENDENCE 14, ANAMOSA 7

Chase Straw rushed for 76 yards and a first-half touchdown and Kyle Fank capped a key seven minute, 15-play, 97-yard drive to start the second with a one-yard TD run as the Mustangs won at home.

Anamosa scored on a 50-yard pass from Connyr Lewis to Josh Schulte.

CENTER POINT-URBANA 22, MOUNT VERNON 21

Ryan Wilkin’s touchdown pass to Josh Jirak’s with 2:03 left lifted the Stormin’ Pointers to a win at home.

CP-U improved to 5-1 in Class 2A-4, 8-1 overall. The Mustangs fell to 3-3, 5-4.

Josh Roseberry led the Stormin Pointers with 163 rushing yards and a TD.

MAQUOKETA VALLEY 56, NORTH CEDAR 6

Jeremy Bacon rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns to lead Maquoketa Valley (8-1, 5-1 1A-5) to the win on the road.

Ben Dzaboff completed 3 of 5 passes for 77 yards with two touchdowns. Ryan Parmely had four carries for 70 yards and scored two touchdowns for the Wildcats.

DYERSVILLE BECKMAN 35, CASCADE 6

Ian Ross ran for 68 yards and scored on runs of 25 and 8 yards as Dyersville Beckman wrapped up an undefeated Class 2A District 4 campaign with a win at Cascade.

Kirby Kendrick added a 20-yard touchdown run and Grant Hammann threw a 40-yard TD pass to Mitch Steger for the Blazers (8-1, 6-0 2A-4).

ALBURNETT 38, TIPTON 37

Alec Philipp completed 17 of 30 passes for 247 yards and three touchdowns to Kolton Rose as Alburnett (5-4, 4-2 1A-5) won a thriller at Tipton.

Philipp also rushed for 81 yards with 23 carries and scored two touchdowns. Colton Martin had 12 catches for 220 yards and Dylan Windfield had 109 yards on 14 rushes.

NEW HAMPTON 34, WAUKON 31

Noah Stochl completed 11 of 22 passes for 192 yards with three touchdowns as New Hampton (8-1, 5-1 2A-3) won on the road.

Brandon Tenge rushed for 94 yards on 22 carries and had two touchdowns for the Chickasaws.

NORTH FAYETTE 13, SUMNER-FREDERICKSBURG 6

Josh Mackey rushed for 261 yards on 50 carries and scored two touchdowns as Hawks won in West Union.
