KIAWAH ISLAND, SC - Third round play has been suspended due to inclement weather at the PGA Championship and will resume on Sunday morning at 7:45 a.m. ET.

When play finished on Saturday evening, Rory McIlroy and Vijay Singh shared the last major's lead at 6-under-par, and Cedar Rapids native Zach Johnson (+2 for the day) was nine shots back.

Johnson started hot at Kiawah Island's Ocean Course, birdieing his first two holes. But since then Johnson has given those shots back and then some - five bogeys in his next nine holes dropped him to 35th place when play stopped. Johnson will resume his round on number 14 on Sunday morning.

Condition worsened significantly as the day progressed, which meant the players teeing off early had the advantages. Bo Van Pelt, Steve Stricker and Jimmy Walker finished their third rounds and posted rounds of 67.

Adam Scott trails the leaders by a shot, Carl Pettersson is two back, Tiger Woods is 3-over in his first seven holes and trails by five shots and Phil Mickelson is seven shots behind McIlroy and Singh.
