MADISON, Wis. No. 22 Iowa lost its composure, its lead, its coach and ultimately the game at No. 4 Wisconsin.

Iowa Coach Fran McCaffery was ejected with 11:51 left in the game, and the Badgers (15-0, 2-0 Big Ten) rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to beat the Hawkeyes 75-71 last night at Kohl Center.

With Iowa (12-3, 1-1 Big Ten) holding a two-point lead, McCaffery went after game officials during a media timeout. He apparently was arguing a non-call against Gabe Olaseni on the offensive end of the court. Olaseni then was whistled for a foul at the other end. Ben Brust sank all four technical free throws to give Wisconsin its first lead since 3-2.

McCaffery raved as he left the court. It was his second ejection as Iowa head coach. He was tossed in December 2011 at Northern Iowa after a pair of technical fouls.

The fouls and momentum swarmed Iowa in McCaffery's vacancy. The Badgers took an eight-point lead with 7:15 left on Duje Dukan's 3-pointer. But the Hawkeyes scrapped back.

The Hawkeyes cut its deficit to 64-63 with 2:58 left in the game on a Devyn Marble 3-pointer. On Wisconsin's next possession, Brust missed a jumper, but Sam Dekker corralled the offensive rebound, Dekker, who was 0-of-9 at that point, drilled a 3-pointer from the corner to push Wisconsin back up four points.

Iowa struggled to get closer than four points until Devyn Marble hit a 3-pointer with 7.4 seconds left. But on the next possession Traevon Jackson hit 1 of 2 free throws for the win.

The series between the two long-time rivals is knotted at 79-79.
