DES MOINES, Iowa - Martensdale-St. Marys won their 87th straight game, beating Lansing Kee 8-3, to win their second straight Class 2A state baseball championship and extending their national record winning streak.

In an interesting twist of fate, the Blue Devils were the first team since Kee (1991, 1992) to enter the tournament with 40 or more wins.
