CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Being in the NCAA Division III soccer Final Four is nothing new for Loras. The Duhawks are making their second straight appearance and their fourth in the last seven years.

But one thing they're hoping to do is win the school's first national championship.

"Coming in last year, our mindset was, we made it and we were excited," junior Johnny Rummelhart said. "Maybe a little too excited. Having the chance to play there last year is going to help us out a lot."

"It's wonderful to be one of the only teams still practicing and still playing at this point," junior Mike Pizzello said. "December soccer is the best soccer."

A big key all year for the Duhawks has been their depth. But many players on the roster saw the field in the Final Four last year. The Duhawks travel to San Antonio and will take the field on Friday versus Rutgers-Cambden, who hasn't lost a game this year.
