CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Cedar Rapids Kennedy announced in a news release Thursday that head football coach Tim Lewis has resigned as the program’s leader. He will continue as a teacher and a part of the strength and conditioning program.

During his 14 seasons at Kennedy, the Cougars went to the playoffs nine times and amassed a 78-65 record. That makes Lewis the winningest football coach in the school's history.
