Kernels Postponed Yet Again

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Maybe the Cedar Rapids Kernels will get to play again. Who knows?

The Midwest League club had weather postpone its third consecutive game Thursday night at Clinton. The Kernels and Clinton LumberKings will try to play a double-header Friday night at 5 at Ashford University Field in Clinton.

Cedar Rapids had the final two games of its series at Wisconsin postponed Tuesday and Wednesday nights. It has a 4-1 record.

The Kernels and LumberKings are scheduled to play again Saturday night at 6 and Sunday at 2 p.m., before Cedar Rapids returns home to host Wisconsin on Monday night at 6:35.
