CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- In Class 5A girls' basketball, Cedar Rapids Jefferson could be a darkhorse team to watch this postseason.

It's been a tale of two halves this season for Jefferson, who started the year 3-8. Since then, they've won six out of their last nine, including a win against Kennedy.

The J-Hawks may be a young team, but they have some talent -- especially in the post. They have two starters who are 6'2", freshman Kennedy Dighton and sophomore Amanda Ollinger.

That youth makes the future bright, but the J-Hawks feel they can make a run this season.
