IOWA CITY - Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz made it clear during Monday's media day that the team and coaches were thrilled to have James Vandenberg as their starting quarterback.

Behind the rising senior though, is Jake Rudock, who will get a chance to be Vandenberg's backup on the depth chart.

TV9's John Campbell profiles the red-shirt freshman from Florida.
