IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Iowa point guard Samantha Logic is looking to take her game to the next level. It's a well-known fact that she can pass the ball. She ranked 15th in the nation with 6.4 assists per game last season.

She can also score. One thing she worked on this offseason was her three-point shooting.

"I'm not going to be like looking to shoot threes. But to able to knock down an open shot, that's what you have to do," Logic said. "To have people respect you, you have to do that."

"She came out of high school ranked as the 11th best player in the country," head coach Lisa Bluder said. "People know about her, and she's been a cog in our wheel since she arrived on campus. I think the next two years could be outstanding for her."
