IOWA CITY, Iowa — Iowa guard Josh Oglesby could miss his second consecutive game Saturday after suffering from a back spasm near his shoulder earlier in this week.
Oglesby, a sophomore from Cedar Rapids, sat out Wednesday against South Carolina State. He did not practice Thursday but is expected to practice today.
“He’s cleared for practice,” Iowa Coach Fran McCaffery said. “We’ll see how he does. It will definitely be a game-time decision to see how he plays.
“It was pretty painful.”
Oglesby averages 5.8 points a game and is second on the team with 17 3-pointers. He averages 16.3 minutes a game.
