IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - Senior guard Devyn Marble is playing like the star Iowa coach Fran McCaffery has long been searching for.

Marble is averaging a career-high 16.4 points per game for the 14th-ranked Hawkeyes (14-3, 3-1 Big Ten), and he's been at his best against Iowa's toughest opponents.

Marble scored 22 points in Sunday's win over then-No. 3 Ohio State, perhaps the biggest win in McCaffery's four seasons at Iowa.

Marble and the Hawkeyes host Minnesota (13-4, 2-2) on Sunday.
