IOWA CITY — The Hokey Pokey is so 1980s.

In the aftermath of the Iowa Hawkeyes' 73-70 women's basketball upset of No. 10 Penn State on Thursday, Coach Lisa Bluder joined her team in a February version of The Big Dance.

The Wobble, to be specific.

"It was quite funny," center Bethany Doolittle said Friday, about 17 hours after the triumph. "The whole staff was getting their groove on."

The Hawkeyes' first road win over a top-10 team since 1993. Yeah, that's groove-worthy. Wobble-worthy.

"Obviously, it was a fun locker room and a happy flight home," said Bluder, whose 269th Iowa win moved her alongside C. Vivian Stringer as the winningest women's basketball coach in school history. "Nobody wanted to leave the locker room. It was a special time to spend with the team."

Freshman Ally Disterhoft scored 24 points and Samantha Logic posted the third triple-double of her career — 14 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists — as the Hawkeyes improved to 18-6 overall, 6-4 in the Big Ten.
