DES MOINES, Iowa - Waverly-Shell Rock edged Mount Pleasant 54-49 in overtime Tuesday to advance to the final four of the 3A state basketball tournament at Wells Fargo Arena.

The Go-Hawks (21-4) will play seventh-seeded Davenport Assumption (19-6), which upset Dallas Center Grimes 55-45 in the quarterfinals earlier in the day. The 3A semifinal will be played Thursday at 8:15 p.m.

Every game of the boys state basketball tournament is being televised on KCRG 9.2.
