CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Since they were freshmen, Jacob, Clayton and Lars Bjornsen have played on the same field together for the Cedar Rapids Washington Warriors.

Tomorrow, the three cousins will play their final regular season game together, but they're hoping the season continues into the playoffs.

"It's been real fun, it's a unique experience," Clayton said. "Not a lot of people get to do that. It's been real fun getting to hang out with them every day."

"We enjoy each other's company," Lars said.

They've not only played together for four years, but they've been following in the footsteps of their dads, who also played football for the Warriors. All three were all-state players.

It's been an exciting journey for the family and for head coach Paul James. He's coached the three cousins, and he also coached their dads.

As the season winds down, this is a year the Bjornsens will never forget.

"We all played receiver all through high school, and it's been pretty cool because the guy you're running next to is your family."
