Cedar Rapids-The ball has taken some strange bounces in the Iowa-Indiana football series. In 2007 IU quarterback Kellen Lewis picked up a loose ball that had been fumbled by one of his receivers and took it to the end zone as part of a 38-20 Hoosier victory.
In 2009 Indiana was leading Iowa and on the verge of scoring again, the Tyler Sash grabbed a ball that had pin balled off 4 different players and he took it 92 yards for a touchdown that turned the game around.
Iowa rallied for a 42-24 victory.
