CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Rain, rain, go away.

The Cedar Rapids Kernels had their Midwest League double-header Friday night at Clinton postponed by persistent wet and cold weather. It’s the fourth consecutive game postponed for the Kernels, who last played Monday night at Wisconsin.

This time, Cedar Rapids and Clinton are scheduled to play a double-header Saturday night at 4 at Clinton’s Ashford University Field. The teams also will play a twinbill Sunday afternoon at noon.

Cedar Rapids (4-1) is then slated to begin a three-game homestand Monday night at 6:35 against Wisconsin.
