Kernels Rained Out At Quad Cities

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Cedar Rapids Kernels had their Midwest League game against the Quad Cities River Bandits rained out Thursday night at Modern Woodmen Park. The teams will play a double-header (two seven-inning games) Friday afternoon beginning at 5.

Cedar Rapids has a 21-9 record and two-game lead on Quad Cities for first place in the MWL’s Western Division. After Friday’s double-header, the Kernels play three games at Beloit before finally returning home from a 12-game road trip, May 14 against Burlington.
