IOWA CITY, Iowa -- A couple of Iowa football players grew up Buckeye fans and used to wear scarlet and grey every Saturday.

John Lowdermilk and Andrew Donnal will be back in Columbus this Saturday to face the fourth-ranked Buckeyes. But this time they'll be wearing Black and Gold and playing in the game.

Lowdermilk, the starting strong safety for the Hawkeyes, even stormed the field after Ohio State beat Iowa in overtime in 2009.

"It was a good game, it was a good environment," he said. "The Hawkeyes should have pulled it out. That's all I really remember."

"I grew up a fan of them," Donnal said. "It's not that I want to beat them any more than I want to beat every other team, but it's a little special going back home."
