Kansas State Takes Series Against Iowa

The final game of the series between Iowa and Kansas State was supposed to be played at Principal Park, home of the Iowa Cubs in Des Moines, but mother nature had other plans. The game was played at Duane Banks Field.

The Wildcats led 5-1 going into the 7th inning, Iowa tried to make a comeback scoring a couple of runs.

It wasn't enough, Kansas State takes the series winning 5-3. Iowa travels to Omaha on Tuesday.
