Hawks Look to Replace Two Tackles

IOWA CITY - The Iowa Hawkeyes are known for their physical offensive lines. This upcoming football season there will be two new book-ends protecting QB James Vandenberg.
Riley Reiff and Markus Zusevics are gone, which opens the door for two youngsters to step in to starting roles. Right now the leaders after spring ball to start at the two tackle spots are Brett Van Sloten and Brandon Scherff, both are Iowa natives.
Van Sloten is a 6'7" 292 pound Junior from Decorah, while Scherff is a 6'5" 310 pound Sophomore from Denison.
