Former Hawkeye Roy Marble Joining 'On Iowa Live' Monday Night

Marble, a native of Flint, Michigan, played at Iowa from 1985-1989. In Iowa career rankings, Marble is first in games (134), first in starts (131), first in points (2,116), first in FGs (787), first in FGAs (1,459), first in FG% (53.9), first in FTs (516), first in FTAs (707), first in steals (183), fifth in 3-point FGAs (76), tied for sixth in 3-point FGs (26), eighth in assists (288) and ninth in rebounds (668). After the 1988-1989 season Marble was an AP and Sporting News honorable mention All-America choice and was the 23rd pick in the first round of the 1989 National Basketball Association (NBA) draft. He played for the Atlanta Hawks from 1989-1990, and the Denver Nuggets from 1993-1994. Photo circa 1988.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Roy Marble, the all-time leading scorer in University of Iowa men's basketball history, is scheduled to appear on "On Iowa Live" Monday night at 6:30 p.m. at The Fieldhouse on Blairs Ferry Road in Cedar Rapids.

The show is broadcast live on KCRG 9.2 and online at KCRG.com.

Also, Iowa City West head coach Steve Bergman will be joining TV9's Scott Saville to talk about his team's long winning streak and more high school basketball.

Plus, as always, the show will give away prizes from the Nook An' Cranny in Cedar Rapids, and as a special gift this week, "On Iowa Live" will be giving away a Notre Dame football, just like the ones used in Monday night's National Championship game. See you at The Fieldhouse on Monday night!
