Dubuque-Mark Martin of Twin Lake, Michigan spent much of Friday working the waters around Dubuque scouting for walleyes.
Martin will be one of approximately 40 pro anglers who will be in Dubuque June 22ND - June 24TH for the AIM Pro Walleye Series Tournament.
Within that series there is no, end-of-the-day weighin. Instead, anglers immediately take pictures of the walleyes they catch against a measuring board background. The fish are then released.
Under this format, anglers can still count walleyes that fall in the 20-27 inch slot limit.
With that in mind, Martin says they could reach record weights in the AIM, Dubuque tournament.
