Archers Invade Alburnett

Alburnett-The Alburnett Invitational attracted 8 schools and 269 archers last Saturday. It was part of the National Archery in the Schools Program.

Young people from 4th grade through 12th grade took part in the competition.

Besides the host school Alburnett, there were teams from Anamosa, Bellevue, Central City, Center Point Urbana, Davenport West, Marion and Mt. Vernon.

Alburnett won the high school division.
