Familiar Face Fishes the Big River

Marquette-Chuck Marshall used to know the Mississippi like the back of his hand. That was in the early 90's when he fished it regularly and hosted a show with us on TV9 called "Gone Fishing."

Marshall, who now lives in the Kansas City area, returned to the river for the first time in 12 years to fish in the Bill Grove Memorial tournament.

While prefishing the tournament on Saturday with Randy Hixson, Marshall said the river had changed a lot. Not the big things, but the subtle things that he used to put himself on fish. Chuck and Randy still found fish on Saturday and did even better Sunday during the tournament. They bagged a limit and finished 7th.
