Iowa City-Bill Liston of Iowa City doesn't go fishing every day, but if they fish are biting he might spend all day.

One of his favorites spots is the Iowa River below the Burlington Street dam in Iowa City.

Recently, during a period of high water, Liston was catching stripers, smallies, walleyes, and an occasional northern. They were all biting on minnows.
