Palo-Fishermen may not like our recent run of windy days, but folks who like to sail are thriving. One is Bob Parrish of Marion. For 20 years he has been an avid wind surfer and he had his board at Pleasant Creek on Wednesday. He said if conditions are good, they can get up to 30 miles per hour. He also says that winds tend to gust in Iowa which makes windsurfing a tricky business.
