TULSA, Oklahoma -- The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team finished in sixth place overall at the ORU Shootout. After shooting a 318 in the first round and a 314 in the second, the Panthers finished the tournament by shooting a third round 308.
Senior Brittany Atterbury led the way for the Panthers by shooting a final day 71, putting her in a tie for second place overall. Atterbury also led all golfers with a tournament-best 10 birdies.
Behind Atterbury, Katie Tabbert shot a round three score of 78 to put her in a tie for 23rd individually. Jocilyn Onnen shot an 81 to finish in a tie for 36th, Blair Bonner with a 78 to put her in a tie for 41st, and Sarah Boss carded a final round 84 to put her in a tie for 51st.
