IOWA CITY, Iowa - Mark Ward, quarterback for the state-bound Iowa City Regina Regals, is this week's winner of the Cedar Rapids Toyota Scion KCRG-TV9 Athlete of the Week, as voted by the fans online and through text messages.

Ward leads the Regals into the state semifinals on Saturday against Dike-New Hartford, which will be aired live on KCRG 9.2.

Scott Saville caught up with Ward on Thursday and had some fun with the quarterback, as always.
