BYRON, Iowa - East Buchanan linebacker Mike Ellis suffered a stroke in 2011 and was told by doctors that he might not walk out of the hospital, let alone play football again.

A year later, he took the field once more. TV9 Sports' John Campbell profiles Ellis in the video above.
