DUBUQUE, Iowa - Rossi Adams ran for 100 yards and four touchdowns Friday night as Cedar Rapids Kennedy capped its regular season with a 52-7 rout of Dubuque Wahlert at the Rock Bowl in Dubuque.

The Cougars (5-4) broke the game open with a 17-point second quarter. Kennedy’s defense held the Golden Eagles (2-7) to only 138 yards rushing and forced three turnovers in the blowout victory.

Trevor Heitland led Kennedy with 123 rushing yards on 14 carries.

“Our running game has really been on the past five or six weeks,” Kennedy Coach Tim Lewis said. “Our offensive line did a tremendous job once again.”
