Volleyball: Iowa State Edges IPFW, Moves On To NCAA 2nd Round

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State defeated IP-Fort Wayne in five sets last night to advance to Friday's second round of the NCAA volleyball tournament at Hilton Coliseum in Ames.

The Cyclones fell behind two sets to one before rallying to win the fourth set, 25-13, then easily taking the fifth set, 15-7.

The Cyclones (21-7) will face North Carolina Friday at 7:30. North Carolina advanced with a victory over California.
