AMES, Iowa (AP) - Iowa State won't have to wait long to see former coach Greg McDermott again.

McDermott will bring his new team, Creighton, to face the Cyclones in Des Moines on Nov. 21. That matchup highlights the early portion of Iowa State's 2010-11 schedule, which the school released Tuesday.

New coach Fred Hoiberg will make his debut at Hilton Coliseum against Northern Arizona on Nov. 12.

The Cyclones will host California and Drake and make trips to Northern Iowa and Iowa during non-conference play.

Iowa State will open Big 12 play at Nebraska, marking their final game in Lincoln as conference opponents.

The Cyclones figure to have a brutal slate to open league play. They host Kansas and Baylor in mid-Jaunary before a road trip through Oklahoma State and Missouri.
