AMES, Iowa (AP) — Iowa State guard Nikki Moody has been named the Big 12's Freshman of the Week for the second week in a row.

Moody averaged 11 points last week as Iowa State beat Butler and lost to No. 16 Penn State.

Moody ranks second on the Cyclones (4-1) with 10.4 points per game. She leads Iowa State with 22 assists and nine 3-pointers.

Iowa State returns to action on Sunday when it plays at Michigan.
