IOWA CITY, Iowa - New security measures are being undertaken for the 2011 football season at Kinnick Stadium.

Security at the stadium, both during the game and prior to kickoff, will now respond to text alerts. You can send a text message to notify authorities of disorderly conduct or other illegal activity.

Another change this year is that warning tickets will be issued to out-of-control fans, and they may get tossed from the game for unruly behavior.

The measures go into effect this Saturday, with the season opener against Tennessee Tech.
