CEDAR RAPIDS - Wash Senior Andre "The Hawk" Dawson ran wild in a win over Jefferson last night Friday night.

Dawson rushed for 265 yards and scored five touchdowns. The night was extra special for Andre, because it was a fundraiser for cancer research.
Dawson's mother Hilda was diagnosed with breast cancer when Andre was just 12 years old, and he made a pledge to his mom before the game. Andre wanted to score a touchdown for every year his mother has survived cancer, and he did.
