Mount Vernon-Lisbon Sophomore Connor Smock is having a break through cross country season.
Connor broke his own record winning the Anamosa Invite last week and ealier this season he set a personal best time of 15:59 over 5k.
Connor is coming off a big high school track season where he won the mile and two mile state Championship as a freshman.
