Cedar Rapids-Cedar Rapids Kennedy senior swimmer Catie Baker is our TV9 High School Athlete of the Week.

Hers is the story of an athlete who has overcome injury to excel.

Baker was state swimming champ two years ago, but shoulder surgery set her back.

Recently she won the 200 I-M and 100 yard breast stroke at the Kennedy invitational and has hopes of rounding back into state championship form.

Catie is also quite a student. She scored a perfect 36 on her A-C-T.
