CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Cedar Rapids Xavier's Kayla Armstrong is this week's winner of the KCRG-TV9 "Athlete of the Week," sponsored by Cedar Rapids Toyota Scion.

Armstrong scored the winning basket in the Saints' state championship-winning effort against Harlan this past Saturday. She scored 22 points in a semifinal win and 23 in the title game to propel her team to another state championship. Armstrong is also a three-time state champion with Xavier in soccer and will play soccer at Drake next year.

TV9's Scott Saville caught up with the multi-sport star in this week's AOW feature.
