SOLON, Iowa - Solon ace Brandon Shulista was perfect in his senior year, going 10-0 with a miniscule 0.98 ERA.

Shulista was at his best in big games. He was on the hill to help lead the Spartans to back-to-back state titles.

He had 9 strikeouts, tossed a four-hitter, and even had an RBI base hit in a 6-1 win over Harlan in the 3A championship game this season.
