Junior Allison Orvis became the first girl in Decorah high school history to win an individual state swim title. Allison took gold in the 200 IM with a time of 2:05.32. Orvis also placed second in the 100 Backstroke, and swam on the second place 200 Medley relay team. Decorah won the Regional title, and finished sixth as a team at state. It was the highest team finish in school history.
