PEKIN, IOWA - Columbus Junction Sophomore Heaven Chandler ran the fastest time in the state in the 100 meters tonight at Pekin with a time of 12.08. Heaven also qualified for the Drake relays in the 100 hurdles and the long jump. Chandler has the second best long jump in the state regardless of class with a leap of 18 feet one inch. Heaven won the 2a state long jump last year as a freshman.
