It's hard to believe, but it has been more than two months since Cedar Rapids native and Chicago Cubs outfielder Ryan Sweeney went down with a broken rib.

Before the injury, it looked like he rejuvenated his career and became a regular starter for the Cubs. Injuries have been a problem for Sweeney in his major league career.

But he's hoping to finish the season healthy as he was activated from the 60-day disabled list on Sunday.

He went 1 for 3 with an RBI against the Phillies in his return to the lineup.
