Cedar Rapids-Course record holders Keith Brantly and Kris Ihle returned Sunday to help celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Fifth Season 8K
Brantly, who set the mark in 1988, and Ihle who notched the women's record in 1997, finished together on Sunday.

The men's winner was Abebe Ymer from Santa Fe, New Mexico. As a recently naturalized U.S. citizen, Ymer was thrilled to win on Independence day.

Tera Moody was the women's winner. Cedar Rapids Erin Moeller came in third.

Oh yes, Keith Brantly and Kris Ihle are still the course record holders in the 5th Season 8K.
